SENIOR FELLOW BRADFORD HILL RACKS UP ACCOLADES

In recent months, Beaverton, Ore., physics teacher Bradford Hill has received several awards and new positions. At the Oregon Science Teachers Association‘s (OSTA) Awards Reception, held on October 24, 2013, Hill was recognized as an Outstanding Classroom Teacher. In November 2013, he was elected President-Elect of the OSTA. Hill has also been named a Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) finalist. The PAEMST are the highest honors bestowed by the United States government specifically for K-12 mathematics and science (including computer science) teaching. Most recently, he was named a member of the Oregon Department of Education Science Content and Assessment Advisory Group, where he’ll serve a three-year term.
