Mark Schlager, PhD Member, Advisory Committee Knowles Science Teaching Foundation

Dr. Mark Schlager is a Senior User Experience Researcher at Microsoft.  As founder of the internationally recognized Tapped In® online teacher community (http://www.tappedin.org/), he has developed and researched effective online strategies, services, and technologies for informal collaborative learning. Dr. Schlager has published several articles on technology support for teacher learning, consulted for teacher education and professional development providers, and served as an advisor for two U.S. Department of Education Regional Education Laboratories. His work has been cited in the National Research Council book, How People Learn (2000), the Open University Press Professional Learning Series book, Teacher Learning for Educational Change (2002), and several teacher education and  professional development textbooks.
