Donna Messina is member of the Physics Education Group and Lecturer in the Physics Department at the University of Washington.  Prior to becoming a member of the Physics Education Group, she taught high school science for a number of years.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University - New Orleans, a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Seattle University, and her Doctor of Philosophy in Education at the University of Washington.
